A wild ride for capital markets
Turbulent times for Capital Markets have been part of the picture ever since we guided Murex through their transition to hosting online customer events back in 2021. This year was certainly no exception – with sky-high interest rates and inflation, energy and carbon trading, and cryptocurrency, to name just a few of the areas their Capital Markets customers need to get to grips with.

The financial event of the year
With new product launches and the promise of deep dive content driving engagement we set out to increase the number of attendees requesting a meeting with the sales team after watching the hour-long event. Creating 3 x bespoke editions that covered the key topics driving the Capital Markets industry for the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. Mindful of avoiding Zoom fatigue we created a magazine style format and made sure to include a good mix of speakers, customer case studies and creative elements centred around the issues of today and to emulate the feel of a live event, and keep viewers actively engaged throughout.
Taking the summit to the next level
This involved a jam-packed rehearsal and filming scheduled. Coordinating several crews across Murex HQs in Paris, Singapore and New York, as well as recording online expert interviews and customer testimonials.
To keep things fresh we reinvigorated the format with the inclusion of 3D graphics and greenscreen technology, to create dynamic and versatile backgrounds for each presenter and segment. As well as creating attention grabbing assets for email and LinkedIn to help drive signups pre and post event.
